East China"s Jiangsu province is making every effort to provide job vacancies for fresh college graduates by hosting a series of job fairs across the province.
About 250 graduates from 22 universities across the country came to Yancheng for interviews. Yancheng has launched an urban experience month activity to help candidates better understand Yancheng. The "Yellow Sea Pearl Talent Plan" provides various preferential policies for university elites who are employed in Yancheng by ensuring the creation of a secure employment environment.
"We see that this city"s construction style and environmental conditions are particularly good," said Zhuang Xi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Public Health, Xiamen University.
"Yancheng provides preferential policies for fresh graduates, and I am interested in working in Yancheng in the future," said Zhang Lihong, Master candidate of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Suqian College held a job fair for fresh graduates on Saturday, inviting 50 alumni and companies. Gao Li comes from Suzhou, but she is interested in the development prospects of Suqian"s e-commerce industry and is determined to stay in Suqian.
This job fair has attracted over 1000 fresh graduates and provided over 1500 job vacancies, ensuring that enterprises can recruit talents and graduates have diverse choices.
At the job fair held by Xinglin College of Nantong University, 110 companies from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong provided over 5400 job vacancies.
"Compared to online communication, I prefer one-on-one face-to-face communication with employers offline, which is beneficial for both parties to have genuine, honest and in-depth communication, and deepen mutual understanding," said a college graduate.
"We hold regular job fairs every month to provide employment services and assistance for graduates. We hope that graduates can provide manpower support for economic and social development," said Liu Shifang, Deputy Secretary and Vice Dean of the Party Committee of Xinglin College, Nantong University.
